Report originally written in October and November 2020. Club travel log part 2! I’ll be writing about AN37th, Souten no Hikari, STAGE5, Tonari no Kuni in this post!
AN37th (25 Oct – 31 Oct)
My friend Pozu-san invited me on Twitter, so I went to visit AN37th for my fifth club! AN was a small club, but everyone was really friendly with each other, so I had fun.
- AN was a small club, so you can play stress-free at your own pace and feel at home.
- Because there weren’t too many people, it was fun to joke and play around during photoshoots.
- They had photoshoots and games (hide and seek, etc.) for their members regularly.
- They’ve made a group chat with all their members in it, so it was easy to send important notifications. People who had left the club are welcome to stay in there to keep in touch.
- In the Discord, Pozu-san regularly posted new information about the game and funny things as well, so it was fun.
Extra: Pozu-san said that the full form of ‘AN37th’ is ‘Anniversary 37th’. It seems to be the favourite number of their first club president!
Souten no Hikari (1 Nov – 7 Nov)
The sixth club I went to was Souten no Hikari (蒼天の光). Souten’s one of the major clubs in my server, so I thought I’d give it a look!
- Souten was a huge club with lots of members, but they generally played at their own pace so you can join in stress-free.
- The club chat was lively. Thanks for talking to me, everyone!
- The club president Bito-san uploaded the club battle teams and schedules to the club moments regularly, so they were easy to check.
- In the battle teams list, it was nice that Bito-san mentioned that you don’t have to worry about winning as long as you’re enjoying the club battle.
STAGE5 (8 Nov – 14 Nov)
Another major club in the Wind of Freedom server was STAGE5. I’ve seen them on Twitter and I knew that they have a lot of nice club systems in place, so I wanted to give it a look. I went there for my seventh club. Thanks for having me, everyone!
- STAGE5 was a huge and friendly club which was also strong in club battles.
- Their vision was to make sure that their members can enjoy the game and events no matter what their play style was.
- They had their own Twitter account and a magazine about their members called ‘THE STAGE5 TIMES’, so things can be pretty fun!
- All their club rules and schedules were also written neatly in posters that they put up in the club’s moments. The teams for club battles were also written in colour, so they were easy to look at.
- The club base fountain party system was there.
Tonari no Kuni (15 Nov – 21 Nov)
For my eighth club, I went to Tonari no Kuni (隣の国). Thank you so much for having a photoshoot with Nidhogg when we were active! Naa-san’s group who joined Nidhogg for awhile was also there, so it was nice to see them and talk to them again.
- They had colourful posters of the club schedules and rules. Fun and easy to read!
- The club base fountain party system was there.
- Everyone was nice and play at their own pace.
- Nima-san regularly wrote tips in the club chat. New players would find them really helpful!
- They had a lot of people who like taking screenshots, so they had a photoshoot once a week. The photos were then uploaded to the club moments so you can see them any time.
- When the club president couldn’t join the club battles, Naa-san and the others talked with each other and made their own teams. I love that independence!
