Pictures originally taken on 30 January 2021. Two of my works were featured in CDB’s 2020 official fanbook! It was amazing to be featured in the official book of one of my favourite games. I was so excited when my copy arrived. Thank you so muuuch!! ;u;
CDB’s 2020 Official Illustration Book
At the end of 2020, CDB made an event called ‘Memories of 2020’ (『2020年の思い出』) and announced it on their official Twitter. It consisted of a giant mosaic art and the official fanbook in this post.
For the fanbook, the official staff scouted out 100 of CDB’s fanwork creators who were active on Twitter in 2020. They then DM-ed them for permission to feature their artwork or screenshots in the book. Each creator gets one page. The staff then suggested the works they wanted to feature. If there were multiple works, the creator gets to choose which one they wanted to put in the book.
I had multiple works suggested to me, so I chose our club alliance art and my Reaper art. The former because I wanted all our club names to remain in everyone’s memories, and the latter because it was the highest quality art that I’ve drawn in 2020!
Everyone who was featured in the book then had a copy sent to them. The book itself wasn’t for sale, but was sometimes given out as a prize for winning CDB’s competitions. Thank you so much for featuring me! It was a great honor and I love the book a lot!
