English Summary
Iris attacked Caesar’s team relentlessly with her dragon powers and hordes of monsters. She invited Ugetsu to join her as an apostle, saying that if he wanted to protect his siblings, having dragon powers would be beneficial.
Iris’ monsters greatly outnumbering them, the party was cornered and everyone was exhausted from the endless fight. Bobotan’s life in danger, Rhyme was eventually forced to activate blood boost to heal everyone. Brought back to their feet, the party quickly retaliated.
Ugetsu told Iris that although he may hate the world for mistreating his siblings, if they chose peace, then he’d follow them and fight Iris. Everyone working together, they were able to defeat the surrounding monsters and Ugetsu landed the last blow on Iris. Ceasar was about to capture her and bring her in for questioning, but she took her own life to prevent it.
Once the battle was over, everyone quickly rushed to Rhyme. Overexerting himself with blood boost, it took a toll on him and he began turning into a monster. Having no vaccine left, the party was unable to do anything about it.
Caesar told them not to give up hope. If they can defeat the dragon quickly, they might make it in time to ask Cassell’s branch office to send in some vaccines to save Rhyme before he completely lost his mind. Violu offered to cut him down if they didn’t make it in time. Rhyme agreed.
