English Summary
Chu Zihang’s team were investigating the area around the school cafeteria, where the intruding dragon’s magic felt the most powerful. Kuronon and Apoline, both having feelings for Chu Zihang, felt very excited to be in the same team with him. They soon began to bicker about who gets to spend time with Chu Zihang after the mission. However, their argument was interrupted by Kazuto finding some clues about the Nibelungen.
The magic circle used to summon the Nibelungen was found hidden behind the trees in the cafeteria. At the same time, the team found the weapons of defeated bodyguards but no bodies. Everyone was confused, but their questions were soon answered when monsters wearing torn bodyguard uniforms attacked the team.
Everyone was reluctant to fight former comrades who were turned into monsters, but they had no choice. Seeing that this was a good chance to prove themselves to Chu Zihang, Kuronon and Apoline fought at the front lines. They surprised even Chu Zihang himself with how relentlessly they attacked the enemy. Kuronon and Apoline began to compete on who can fight better.
Things seemed to go well at first, but Apoline was overwhelmed by a sudden crowd of monsters coming at her. Kuronon was faced with a decision. She could’ve ignored Apoline and took her chance to shine, but decided against it. Apoline was her precious sister first and foremost, so she went to save her.
After defeating the monsters together, to Kuronon’s surprise, Apoline threw an attack at her. But it was actually to take down the monster attacking Kuronon from behind. Having a newfound trust and friendship, the two thanked each other and continued fighting. This time, together.
With the help of Chu Zihang and the team, they managed to clear the monsters in the area. Kuronon and Apoline now bickered about letting the other spend time with Chu Zihang first.
Seeing the magic circle Kazuto found, the Nibelungen was summoned here in the cafeteria, but the leader of the dragons didn’t seem to be there anymore. The team decided to head off to the library to investigate it next, anticipating that the dragon leader had set up base there.
