Pokemon fan comic (Pokemon Unite). Semi-fiction based on actual events. I’m leaving Unite and moving to the main games, so I made a comic to tie up the Unite arc. Thanks for everyone who supported Team Rhyme so far. See you in Paldea!

Synopsis
Rhyme decides that it’s time to leave Aeos Island. Team Rhyme’s ace Zephyr the Zeraora isn’t entirely happy with it, so he challenges his rival Ruki the Lucario one last time to get some closure.

  • Zeraflad belongs to Fladervy. Scenes with Zeraflad are co-written with him.

Artist's Notes

Thank you so much for reading! A bit sad to leave Unite after sticking to it for 3 years, but I’m looking for new adventures. I wrote this comic to tie up all loose ends so we can cleanly go to our next stage. Thank you so much for cheering for Team Rhyme so far! I’m happy to have met my Pokemon and lots of friends through Unite. I’ll continue drawing Zephyr and co. even after I move to the main games, so I hope we can continue keeping you entertained! See you again! (I’m still not sure how many Pokemon Scarlet works I’ll make, so I’ll log my next works in the Miscellaneous page for now. Check it out if you’re interested!)

Trivia

  • My announcement of quitting Unite and aiming for Master 2000.
  • Announcement of stopping at 1600.
  • Last Unite montage.
  • Page 9: I set Ruki’s skill level to be around Unite’s competitive players who participate in the official World Championship and can win decently.
  • Page 12: Charizard’s dialogue is a reference to me having a hard time during S4, when it was also Charizard and All-Rounder meta.
  • Page 20: Zeraflad having a crush on Zephyr was also foreshadowed in this comic.
