My Pokemon Trainer OC Rhyme!
Rhyme
Gender: Male
Height: Originally 170 cm, but changes with his appearance in the worlds he visit (around 150 cm in Unite, Scarlet, etc.)
Rhyme’s an interdimensional traveler from another world. As the owner of an Atelier, Rhyme travels in search of inspiration for his works, somewhat like a traveling bard. Rhyme’s appearance and abilities change depending on the rules of the world he visits. He keeps his true identity a secret so that he won’t cause chaos in the visited world.
In the Pokémon world, Rhyme’s a young Trainer adventuring with his Pokémon. They help those in need as they explore the different regions and aim to deepen their understanding of Pokémon. Rhyme loves his team a lot! As a creator, his personal mission is to bring smiles to people’s faces with his works.
Team Rhyme's Pokemon
- Echo (Alolan Vulpix / アローラロコン): Rhyme’s loyal companion and guardian who’s also the team manager.
- Nini (Sylveon / ニンフィア): Member no. 1, everyone’s senior. The team symbol and colour were inspired by her.
- Happy (Blissey / ハピナス): Member no. 2, the team mom. Nini’s best friend.
- Zephyr (Zeraora / ゼラオラ): Member no. 3, the team’s ace. Once nicknamed ‘Kitten’ by his mentor Thundersnow.
- Ruka (Lucario / ルカリオ): Member no. 4, the cute member of the team. Ruka’s also Ruki’s little brother.
- Apple (Blaziken / バシャーモ): Member no. 5, originally Rhyme’s first ever Pokemon partner.
As Apple the Blaziken is Rhyme’s first ever Pokemon partner, Rhyme’s grown a connection to Fire-Type starters and will pick a Fire starter for every journey in a new land.
Personality
Despite being shy, Rhyme’s generally nice to the people around him. He can also be quite stubborn and ambitious. Being adventurous, Rhyme loves to learn new things and experiment. He’s usually always busy with one project or another, dragging his Pokemon to star in them and have fun together.
Rhyme's Past
Rhyme came to the Pokemon world from another dimension, accompanied by his guardian Echo who takes the form of an Alolan Vulpix. Rhyme had once been to the Pokemon world a long time ago as a child, traveling the Hoenn Region with his first partner Apple the Blaziken. Missing Apple and wanting to explore the Pokemon world further, Rhyme returned as an adult and founded Team Rhyme. He looks forward to his future adventures with his beloved Pokemon!
Quirks
- Being an introvert, Rhyme can be extremely shy. Most of the time, he travels and works solo with his own Pokemon.
- He likes to spoil his Pokemon a lot.
- Rhyme keeps a log of his adventures with his Pokemon wherever he goes to remember their beautiful memories together.
- Rhyme also keeps plushies of his Pokemon.
