Team Rhyme member no. 5. Apple’s originally Rhyme’s first ever Pokemon partner when he first visited the Pokemon world as a child. After being separated for many years, the two reunited again and started a brand new adventure together.
Personality
Having spent years training by herself, Apple’s quite bold and mature. She doesn’t rush into things and takes her time to think before making a decision. Being a female Blaziken, she has the instincts of a mother hen when around her friends and her teammates. She fears nothing when it comes to protecting those who are important to her. Apple’s particularly protective of Rhyme.
Apple’s Past
As a newborn Torchic, Apple used to see Rhyme as her parent whom she would follow around everywhere. She was Rhyme’s first Pokemon partner, so Rhyme showered her with love and brought her along throughout all his adventures in the Hoenn Region. Rhyme was Apple’s entire world, so she protected him and fought for him with all her might. Unfortunately, Rhyme had to go somewhere far away one day, where he couldn’t bring Pokemon along. Apple was heartbroken when they were forced to part ways.
While Rhyme was away, Apple traveled and trained by herself. After several years, she was overjoyed when she heard the news of Rhyme being on Aeos Island. The two were happy when they managed to reunite.
Quirks
- As a small child with no knowledge of Pokemon, Rhyme had no idea that a Torchic would evolve into a cool Blaziken, so he gave Apple a cute name. Over time, the name stuck, so they left it that way.
- The beads in Apple’s hair are a gift from Rhyme during their travels in the Hoenn Region. Rhyme always keeps a Torchic doll with him even after leaving Hoenn because Apple has a special place in his heart.
- Having fought and trained a lot, Apple has a well-toned body.
- She likes Fluffruits and Leppa berries.
- Apple’s generally quite a mother hen and a big sister type of character around her friends.
